From 1 July 2010, the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (the GIPA Act) requires the Department's Business Centres to publish 'open access information' on their websites unless there is an overriding public interest against disclosing this information.
Open access information includes policy documents and documents created by the Business Centre that are tabled in Parliament.

The NSW Government has released its Legal Services Blueprint. The Legal Services Blueprint outlines reforms to the delivery of legal services across the NSW Government in the following six areas:
The reforms are designed to ensure that legal services expenditure in NSW is transparent, efficient and aligned with Government priorities.
The Government has endorsed the reforms contained in the Legal Services Blueprint.
Legal Services Coordination is working with agencies to implement the reforms across Government.
